BIG HOUSE IPA – $7

A beer with character to match the building it is named after. The appearance of this beer is a burnt gold color, from its rich and light grain build. On the nose, you will pick up a hint of maltiness that is quickly overcomed by a higher hop character, which are traditionally American hops. This medium bodied American IPA focuses on the astringency of pine and botanicals, followed by a slight, refreshing citrus to wash it down.
SALUDA ROAD PALE ALE – $7
ABV 5.3% IBU 37.1
This beer is named in regard to the former inmates in this once prison, that worked to complete the Saluda Road project, which is now known as Highway 176. Like its namesake, this beer is an all day worker. With its balance of light caramel malts and moderate hop profile, this an enjoyable beer that appeals to a wide range of beer drinkers. Herbal and floral hops flavor this beer and it is finished with a citrusy hop aroma.
KONJUGAL KOLSCH – $7
ABV 4.8% IBU 24.2
This traditional light German beer is built to bring the two main styles of beer together. As a lagered ale, we have built our Konjugal Kolsch to be light and sweet, using a pilsner style grain build, herbal German hops, and a Kolsch style yeast. This beer drinks light and clean, with a nice herbal bitterness to help with its dry finish. This beer is bittersweet, like the name suggests!
LOCK-UP LAGER – $7

Our german pilsner is very light bodied, highly attenuated beer. This beer is very clean and crisp, elegantly hopped with German hops. This is a beer that you can enjoy any time of the day. If you are new to craft beer, or you just simply want something nice and easy, this is the beer for you. The ghosts told us that it even washes the bad taste out of their mouth from being locked up!
SLAMMER WHEAT – $7
ABV 4.8% IBU 17.7
This American wheat beer is made with prominently wheat grains, and a very light amount of herbal, zesty hops. Although she is noticeably light and refreshing, you can pick up on the sweet, malty flavor. But don’t get her confused. She might be soft and sweet, but once she’s had enough of you, she will throw you right in the slammer!
PENITENTIARY PORTER – $7

Are you ready to get roasted? Well then, bring on the Penitentiary Porter! This beer is full-bodied and full-flavored. Using a mix of chocolate and highly roasted grains, you will experience slightly sweet, slightly bitter, molasses, and nutty for sure. We have paired these flavors with just the right amount of hops to ensure a woody, aromatic bitterness. The beer finishes with a lasting toastiness.
JAILHOUSE JUICY HAZY IPA – $7
ABV 6.7% IBU 40.6
Our hazy IPA really gets the jailhouse rockin’! Although we’ve added a sweet blend of wheat and oats to its grain profile, this is a very hop-forward beer and the hops are to blame for its greatness. With a blend of Simcoe, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops, this beer has hop overload of tropical, woody, and citrus all in one.
DAWG HOUSE BROWN ALE – $7
ABV 5.1% IBU 28.1
This American brown ale is a medium-bodied beer with a tasteful blend of chocolate and caramel notes, adding higher carbonation so that it feels not so heavy on your stomach as darker beers tend to do. We’ve added a blend of Golding and Fuggle hops, balancing out the sweetness from the darker malts, which adds a vegetal, woody aromatic nose and taste to it.
STONE COLD KILLA IPA – $7
ABV 7.5% IBU 50
This ale is brewed with Pilsen malts to give it a light body and flaked corn to give it a sweeter, thicker mouthfeel. We hopped and dry hopped with Mosaic, Simcoe, and El Dorado hops to focus on a blend of citrus and pine. Cold IPAs get their name from being fermented with lager yeast at an ale temperature. This provides a clean finish while maintaining focus on the hop profile of this IPA. This brew is light, effervescent, powerful, doting, and enigmatic all in a single glass!
SOLITARY STOUT – $7
ABV 5.4% IBU 41.5
Our stout is a dark, heavier beer with roasted coffee flavors and chocolate undertones. This stout has a sweeter, cream-like finish due to the addition of lactose (milk sugar). Lactose is a sugar that does not ferment, so its sweetness is present in the final product.
